This gut renovation was a labor of love—a chance to bring a cherished family home back to its former glory while infusing it with the warmth and functionality needed for an active lifestyle. Every decision balanced comfort and practicality with the elegance and sophistication that was craved, creating a home that feels lived-in yet effortlessly refined.

Natural stone grounds the interiors, layering texture and materiality throughout the kitchen and key gathering spaces. Draped windows soften the light, adding a sense of intimacy and fluidity that makes each room feel inviting. The kitchen, now a centerpiece of both beauty and function, combines sculptural surfaces with thoughtful layout, allowing for daily family life and effortless entertaining alike.

This home is a dialogue between heritage and modernity, where each material, finish, and detail contributes to a sense of continuity and refinement. It’s a place that honors the past while embracing the present—a home that feels simultaneously sophisticated, comfortable, and alive with family energy.

For the office, we wanted to create a space that felt tactile, layered, and quietly powerful. We mixed woods and metals with rich leathers and deeply saturated paint, embracing contrast as a kind of harmony. In the end, it’s not about matching, but how each material speaks to the next, how textures catch light, how the room feels when you move through it.

For the boys’ bedrooms, we wanted to create spaces they could truly grow into — rooms that evolve with them, layered with texture, and quiet sophistication. There’s a beauty in designing for time, in creating something that feels effortless now but will only deepen as they do. We avoided the overly “childlike” and instead leaned into timeless materials, tactile fabrics, and a palette that balances energy with calm. The goal was to build a foundation — a space that could hold their imagination today and their individuality tomorrow.

This project was something truly special — the kind that stays with you long after the last piece is placed. From the start, it was about more than creating a beautiful home; it was about capturing a feeling. Every space was designed with intention, a reflection of the people who live here — their rhythm, their warmth, their way of moving through the world. What made this project so meaningful was the trust, the collaboration and the shared vision. The people, the place and the processed aligned beautifully.
